Our Mission
Bridging science and Policy to foster environmental sustainability in Asia and the Pacific
Our Story
The Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RRC.AP), an outreach center of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), is dedicated to supporting countries in achieving their environmental and sustainable development goals. RRC.AP provides comprehensive capacity-building, knowledge sharing, policy advisory services, and research to address critical environmental challenges, focusing on three key thematic areas: climate change, air pollution, and waste management. By bridging expertise, policy, and practice, RRC.AP empowers governments and stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions, paving the way for a more resilient future across Asia and the Pacific.
Focus on Climate Change
We enhance the capacity of government officials and stakeholders across Asia and the Pacific to effectively access and manage climate finance, advance impactful climate action, and strengthen disaster risk reduction strategies. Through targeted training, knowledge exchange, and technical support, we empower regional actors to implement sustainable solutions that address the pressing challenges of climate change while fostering long-term resilience and sustainable development.
