Climate Change Cluster participates in the APAN forum in Manila, 17-19 October

Following inputs provided during the preparation stages of the Asia Pacific Adaptation Forum, the Climate Change Cluster will contribute to several sessions of this important biennial regional forum, co-hosted by the Climate Change Commission, Philippines, the Government of the Republic of Palau and the Asian Development Bank.

The Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum, the flagship event of the Asia Pacific Adaptation Network (APAN), is the primary regional platform for adaptation practitioners to meet, share their learning and experiences, and work together towards the pertinent outcomes and practical solutions that are needed to address the challenges of climate change.

In this 6th edition taking place in Manila, Philippines, between 17-19 October, RRC.AP-AIT participates in several sessions.

Besides attending the pre-Forum training workshop on Green Climate Fund projects in the water sector, RRCAP-AIT is participating as a speaker in a parallel session on “Mobilizing resources and securing funding through innovation and diverse forms of financing mechanisms” on Wedneday, 17 October and is also moderating a session on “Approaches to Adaptation in Coastal Communities: Coordinating Multiple and Divergent Interests” taking place on Thursday, 18 October.
