The Climate Change Cluster is participating in the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP) in Katowice, Poland, for the second consecutive year. Featuring several interventions, the Cluster aims to share experiences and successes on capacity building and knowledge sharing activities on climate finance in the Asia-Pacific region.
AIT RRC.AP’s climate change cluster is attending the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP24), taking place on 3-14 December in Katowice, Poland. The Cluster is co-organising a side event on “Exploring Innovative Approaches to Strengthen Capacity on Direct Access to Climate Finance” in collaboration with the Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS) and Indigo Development and Change. The side event is scheduled for 7 December 2018, 15:00-16:30 (GMT +1), and will feature a discussion with distinguished speakers including Dr. Saleemul Huq, from the International Centre for Climate Change and Development, Bangladesh and Ms. Anupa Lamichhane, Accredited Entity Specialist, Green Climate Fund.
Lyan Villacorta, from AIT-RRC.AP will speak in a side event sponsored by the Ministry of Environment of Japan to share achievements of RRC.AP’s capacity-building efforts for direct access to the Green Climate Fund.
RRC.AP will also showcase its knowledge series on climate project proposals, as well as its work in capacity building and climate finance knowledge products in the exhibit hall throughout the duration of the conference.
